Powerups, tutorial levels, and more!
Lots of updates this week. Let's start with the most exciting feature!
Powerups. By connecting three tiles in a row, you will be left with a blue tile, which will clear an entire row if you use it! It's pretty satisfying using it so hopefully this will make the game more fun. I am thinking of potentially making additional power ups for if you connect four, or even five tiles in a row, but for now, connecting three or more tiles in a row will give you a blue tile.

Another addition this week are tutorials on the earlier levels! I have included a simple video on the levels so hopefully players can get a feel for how to clear the level (or even just copy what the video is doing) to pass.
And lastly, I've finally created the algorithm for generating new tiles procedurally. This means that for each level, I will only have to place a few starting tiles and the rest will be filled in automatically forever! The algorithm may need some tweaking in the future to ensure that the numbers are "good" but we'll see what the testers think about that.
